Trailer: Hoodrats 2

I’ve never seen Hoodrats, but I’m on the lookout for a DVD copy for Hoodrats 2. Why? Mostly… okay, only because it stars the Seattle homie and former Supersonics dancer Donnabelle Mortel, who was in the middle of filming during our stop in LA on the Freshly Dipped Tour this past July.
Plus, I’ve always rooted for more dark-skinned Pinay sisters to appear onscreen. Any screen. To balance out all the pasty ones. Even if they gotta wield bats to do it.

I’m all for supporting the careers and causes of our friends, neighbors and fellow pocs. But judging from the trailer this movie is all about the sexy violence done up young woman of color style. Sorry man I can’t support that.
